J&K IIPA holds annual debate at KU, VC Prof Neloofar Khan presides over award distribution ceremony

Srinagar: Jammu & Kashmir Chapter of Indian Institute of Public Administration (JKIIPA) on Thursday organised annual IIPA Debate at the Department of Students Welfare Kashmir University.

Reports said that students of several colleges, Kashmir University, S K University of Agriculture Sciences and Technology and SSM Engineering College Parihaspora Pattan participated in the annual debate. Awards were conferred on several students for their best performance in the debate. Vice Chancellor Kashmir University presided over the Veledictory function and prize distribution ceremony. In her Valedictory address Vice Chancellor Prof Neloofar Khan praised J&K IIPA functionaries particularly A M Watali and incumbent JK IIPA Vice President Dr G  N Qasba for the conduct of the annual debate. Speaking on the occasion Vice President JK IIPA Dr G N Qasba said that many more programs including debates and conferences on issues challenging the society will be organised in coming months. Registrar Kashmir University Prof Nisar Ahmad Mir also attended the debate as Guest of Honour. J&K IIPA conducted Annual Debate after a gap of four years due to back to back three Covid lockdowns in last three years.
