DDC Reasi presides over weekly block divas at Panchayat Block Pouni

Reasi| : Deputy Commissioner Reasi, BabilaRakwalon Wednesdaconducted an exhaustive tour of Block Pouni and listened to the public issues and demands at the weekly block Diwas meeting inPanchayatKheral.
The PRIs and general public of adjoining Panchayats put forth several issues and problems being faced by them in day to day life. The DC directed the concerned officers to ensure time bound redressal of public issues.
The PRIs and locals raised scores of issues and sought establishment of a gridstation at Kheral, uninterrupted power supply, augmentation of drinking water supply. They demanded development and promotion of GuptKashi as tourist destination, re-opening of SiharBaba , meeting shortage of staff in kheral Government High School, appointment of Urdu teacher in middle school Kheral, Construction of foot bridge on local nallah, renovation of road from Zero Bridge to Sihar Baba, construction of Hospital Building at Pouni, shifting of classes to newly constructed University Campus from DIET Reasi, etc.
Multitude of issues regarding Water, Power, Road, Ration, Transport, Nutrition, Education, Health were resolved on the spot after face to face deliberation with District Officers and for several other issues DC fixed timeline for their redressal.
Later, the DC distributed Golden Cards among the beneficiaries.
The DC passed necessary directions for completion of developmental works within stipulated time.
The camp was also attended by ACD AnirudhRai, CHO , CMO, CAHO, DSHO, LMO, TehsildarReasi, XENs, BMO Pouni among various other district officers along with PRIs, BDOs, Sarpanchs and Panchs.
