Now she expressed her thoughts in a speech about 76th Independence Day. To everyone who has assembled here to commemorate this great holiday of India’s freedom, happy independence. I appreciate your time and attention, and with this I’d like to start my speech. I’m here to talk about how significant today is. Every Indian is aware that on August 15, 1947, we gained our freedom, yet few are aware of its significance.
I would want to shed some light on the matter that has to be addressed in the dazzling light of our independence beneath the roof of our Tiranga as an independent citizen of the Republic of India. On Independence Day, we commemorate not only the sacrifices made by our great freedom warriors but also all the accomplishments of our country, which further motivate us to succeed in all facets of life. Our proud warriors, who bravely guard our borders day and night so that we can live in peace in our nation, are responsible for our ranking among the top five military powers in the world today. In addition to shielding us from potential terrorist attacks, they are also always ready to assist in rescue efforts when a disaster strikes the nation. I hope you all remember Mangal Pandey, a heroic Indian soldier who served in the British military. He is credited with starting the “Revolt of 1857,” the first uprising against British rule. Later, many more freedom warriors entered the fray and dedicated the remainder of their lives to the cause of independence. The sacrifices of Chandra Shekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, and Khudi Ram Bose, who passed away at a young age, to free the country from the grip of slavery, cannot be disregarded. The battles of Gandhiji and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose are very important to remember. At the concluding function Ist, 2nd,3rd and Consolation prizes were distributed through the hand of Principal Govt Higher Secondary School Khellani Sachla KumarI, BDC Chairman Munish Kumar, SHO Khellani Surjeev Sharma and First Class Magistrate Pritam Manhas. Refreshment was also gaven to all the students of participating schools by the refreshment committee. Last but not least let us honour the struggle of many brave hearts who fought for the country freedom. Finally I salute the martyrs for the sacrifices made so for and thank them for giving us freedom.
