Har Ghar Tiranga: Several Activities organized in Ang

Ang: In an effort to sensitise people of the district about the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, Rehabilitation Council J&K in collaboration with Social Welfare Department Anantnag organised several activities including Tiranga Rally Sunday here.
A number of Specially Abled Persons, students and other stakeholders participated with great enthusuasm.
At the outset, a scooty rally of Specially Abled Persons (SAP) of different areas of the district was carried out from MFM Bondialgam.
The rally was flagged-off by Executive Director J&K Rehabilitation Council, Ishfaq Ahmad in presence of District Social Welfare Officer and other officials of Social Welfare Department. The rally witnessed SAPs carrying National Flags and Banners depicting the significance of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
Besides, painting, awareness and other activities were carried out at MFM Bondialgam, Child Care Institutions, Boys Pahari Hostel etc in which the inmates/students participated.
The participants drew beautiful shades of National Flag and Freedom Fighters and were also imparted awareness about the Freedom Movement and importance of Independence Day in the history of the country.
Later, the students took part in Tiranga Rallies and marched through nearby areas.
