DLSA Reasi constitutes Core Group to help landslide hit families at Bassa

Reasi : The Chairman Legal Services Authority Reasion Saturday has constituted a Core Group to help and ensure immediate help by government and non government agencies to the landslide hit victim families of Village Bassa of Tehsil Thuroo of Dharmari Sub Division Reasi.
As per the Order No. 173/DLSAR Dated:13.08.2022 issued by the Chairman DLSA Reasi, “Taking the note of news item published in a section of press on 04.08.2022 that 36 Houses belonging to tribes of Village Bassa of Tehsil Thuroo of Dharmari Sub Division Reasi that were damaged due to massive landslides and sinking of earth that forced dozens of families to flee from their houses, in terms of scheme for legal services to disaster victims through legal services authority, a Core Group is constituted under the control of Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Mahore with the following members: SDM Arnas, Advocate Balbir Singh, BMO Mahore, SDPO ArnasandAdvocate Imran Akram.
The core group shall help and ensure, Immediate help by government and non government agencies to the victims, Coordinate with different departments of government and NGOS for bringing immediate relief to the disaster victims, supervise the distribution of relief material, supervise the construction of temporary shelter for transporting the victims to safer places, Supervise re-union of families, Supervise the health, care and sanitation of victims, Supervise the needs of woman and children, Ensure the availability of food, medicines and drinking water, Supervise the construction of damaged houses, Supervise the restoration of cattle and chattle, Hold Legal Services Programmes in the relief camps for the rights of the victims, Assisting in the problems related to insurance policies, Arranging bank loans for re-starting the lost business, Arranging psychiatric help and counselling the disaster victims.
The Chairman TLSC Mahore shall also open a temporary legal aid clinic in the Village to be manned by two PLVs of the area already on panel of TLSC Mahore for the help of disaster victims”.
