As unprecedented rise of digital intervention in the business operations and working in Government Offices is fast changing the life style of people in every part of the country and same holds good for the people of Jammu & Kashmir, the accessibility of people to even delivery of goods of daily been eased by hassle free accessibility of people to internet services. Not only delivery of goods of daily use but the conduct of meetings both within the Government and as well as in commercial establishments virtually has been also eased by the fast increasing digital intervention. Work from home has become a new norm even in the conduct of routine works at both Government offices and as well as private commercial establishments.  One way or the other people are getting more connected virtually with ease. Had the digital intervention not changed the working of government offices and business establishments, the people won’t have withstood the irresistible pulls and pressures even during the covid lockdown periods in last three consecutive years of pandemic in Jammu & Kashmir like other parts of the country. Marketing digitally has also eased the accessibility of people to livelihoods as the engagement of youth for delivery of goods by e-commerce companies in Jammu & Kashmir like other parts of the country has generated means of livelihoods for thousands of unemployed youth. Even after the covid restrictions the digital intervention is fast increasing in the conduct of routine works almost in every sphere of public life and more so in education and health sectors. While youth still prefer to pursue coaching for competitive examinations virtually, the people of all ages and areas are tending to avail the telemedicine facilities to avoid the avoidable inconveniences at health centres in both urban and rural parts of Jammu & Kashmir. Jammu & Kashmir Govt itself has also switched over to e-office mode of working the most attractive part of which is the electronic movement of files and it merits a mention here that electronic movement of files has ended the practice of biannual darbar shifting from Srinagar to Jammu and Jammu to Srinagar which was putting a burden of crores of rupees on J&K Govt.

Fast increasing digital intervention has reduced the communication gapes both within and outside the Government. More digital interventions will likely ease the accessibility of people to more facilities and consequently promptness in delivery of services . Wisdom demands that people change their strategies with the intent of translating their plans into realities.

So digital intervention has not only changed the life style of the people but it has changed the working of Government in Jammu & Kashmir. So any internet disconnect can now take a heavy toll on almost every routine public activity be it education, health and business or the working of the Government offices. By all standards of understandabilities the fast increasing digital intervention has reduced the communication gapes both within and outside the Government. More digital interventions will likely ease the accessibility of people to more facilities and consequently promptness in delivery of services . Wisdom demands that people change their strategies with the intent of translating their plans into realities.
