Covid- 19 In JK: No new death reported, toll stays at 4776

Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir Government in it’s daily Covid Bulletin on Saturday said that 622fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19)including 77from Jammu division and 545 from Kashmir Valley raised the total number of positive cases to 473219, Stating therein further that with no new Covid death reported from anywhere in last 24 hours in Jammu & Kashmir the J&K’s overall Covid death toll stayed at 4776.
Government in it’s daily Covid Bulletin also said that moreover, 777 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 185 from Jammu division and 592from Kashmir division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 473219 positive cases, 4579 are Active Positive (739in Jammu Division and 3840 in Kashmir Division), 463863 have recovered and 4777have died; 2346 in Jammu division and 2431 in Kashmir division.
The Government in it’s daily Covid Bulletin further said that out of 26290562 test results available, 473219 samples have tested positive and 25817343 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 12,470 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6699951 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 131persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 4579 in isolation and 327in home surveillance. Besides, 6690137 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for Saturday, the Bulletin informs that in Kashmir division, Srinagar reported 212 cases, Baramulla reported 110 cases, Budgam62 cases, Pulwama reported 16cases, Kupwara reported62 cases, Anantnag reported24 cases, Bandipora reported 16 cases, Ganderbal reported 14 cases, Kulgam reported 27cases while as Shopian reported 02 fresh cases for Saturday.
Similarly in Jammu division, Jammu reported 42 cases, Udhampur 03, Rajouri 05, Doda 02, Kathua 03, Samba 01, Kishtwar 13, Poonch02, Ramban05 while as Reasi reported 01 fresh case for Saturday.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
