JMC organizes mega cycle Tiranga rally to mark AzadikaAmritMahotsav

Jammu : Whipping up the patriotic fervour, scores of people participated in cycle Tiranga rally organised by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) in collaboration with Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL) on Friday as a part of AzadikaAmritMahotsav to celebrate 75th anniversary of Independence.
The rally started from Bus Stand, Jammu parking at 5 PM and was flagged off by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer of Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL) Rahul Yadav.
The senior officials of JMC including Joint Commissioner Administration, Joint Commissioner Enforcement and Revenue, Joint Commissioner Health and sanitation, Health officials, Executive Engineers while the officials of JSCL including Technical Director; General Managers, participated in the rally.
Scores of cyclists rode through Gumat, Jewel Chowk and the rally culminated at Kala Kendra. Each bicycle in the rally had a tricolor flag attached to it.
Speaking on the occasion, Rahul Yadav said that the rally evoked overwhelming response and people enthusiastically participated in the rally.
He informed that JMC has been organising a series of events as a part of AzadikaAmritMahotsav to celebrate 75th anniversary of Independence.
He added that the events aimed to make people aware of the freedom movement and the sacrifices made by freedom fighters.
He added these events are also helping to channelise youth towards making the country a great nation.
He also appealed to residents of Jammu to make this HarGharTiranga campaign successful and to hoist the National Flag at their homes between 13th to 15th August 2022.
He also appealed to citizens to come together to keep the National Flag flying high and to feel the pride associated with it.
