Doda : Social Welfare Department Doda, under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav & Nasha Mukht Bharat campaign, on Friday organised a series of anti-drug pledge ceremonies in educational institutions across the district.
During the pledge ceremony the students were also briefed about the ill effects of intoxicant Drug substances. They were advised to stay away from drugs and advise their peers not to fall prey to any type of addiction. “The students need to become the brand ambassadors of Drug Free India and spread the message in every corner of the district” the speakers advised them.
They were asked to pledge on the 75th Independence Day of the country to completely root out the drug abuse from their area by being part of the drug eradication campaign.
It is pertinent to mention here that the campaign is being carried out under the supervision of DC Doda Vikas Sharma and managed by DSWO Doda Tariq Ahmed Qazi.
