Agri Production & Farmers Welfare Deptt kick-starts online Agri -related Services

Jammu : Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare Department has enabled a user-friendly J&K Single Window System and undertook several initiatives to ensure ‘Ease of Doing Business and Ease of Living’ for Promotion of Agripreneurship& Start-ups in agriculture allied Industry and Internal Trade.
All licensing services and sub-services under the Agriculture Production Department of J&K are being automated and shall ensure hassle-free services without any physical touch points.
As per the department all licensing services are available on https://agriculture.ik.qov.in and is to be re-integrated with single window system- https://sinqlewindow.ik.qov.in/.) within 1 month.
The services being provided include issuance and renewal of license for stocking / sale of Seed and Fertilizer at wholesale and retailer level. This will further include grant of license for manufacture and sale of Insecticides at wholesaler and retailer level besides grant of license for use of insecticide for commercial pest control operation. Issuance/renewal of license for stocking/sale of micronutrients and biofertilizers is also included as well.
This system will enable the Applicant to apply ( upload Forms & Documents), to submit online fee, view scheduled inspection with the checklist, track the status of the application besides viewing /downloading the approval Certificate/NoCs/Licenses etc. The system notifies the applicant through SMS & email at each level of action taken by admin department thus no requirement to get in touch with concerned authorities physically except in cases where inspection/ site visit/ Physical visit of applicant is mandated by law. The above services will serve as boon in the larger interest of farmers & the technologically transforming agriculture sector of J&K.
In this regard a notification has been issued by Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare Department vide No:-01-Agri (APD) of 2022 Dated – 12.08.2022.
