Anantnag : In run-up to the celebrations of 75th year of the Independence Day and as part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mohaotsav”, MC Doru Verinag and Zonal Education Office, Doru- Verinag on Thursday organized a Massive Tiranga Hoisting Ceremony, Rally at Sports Stadium Doru under Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign.
President, MC Doru Verinag, Mohd Iqbal Ahanger highlighted the significance of the National Flag.
The function was attended by ZEO Doru , Social Activists, officials of 19 RR, MC employees, teachers and hundreds of students besides employees and locals of the area.
The event was appreciated by locals and students as it was unique in style, colourful in appearance and massive in gathering.The students assembled in chain and formed ’75’, signifying seventy five years of Independence.
