Mega Tiranga Rally held at Hajin to promote ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign

B’pora : In connection with the series of activities being organised as part of ongoing ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a mega Tiranga rally was held at Education Zone Hajin on Monday in presence of District Nodal Officer Bandipora, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak.
Morethan 750 students belonging to different schools of the district enthusiastically took part in the event.
Addressing the gathering, the District Nodal said that the idea behind Har Ghar Tiranga activities is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of People and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.
He said a series of activities like rallies, debates, quiz, painting competitions and cultural programmes are being organised throughout the district to promote the campaign.
Hakak said that organising such events adds more enthusiasm among the public and respect for Tiranga. He urged all the stakeholders to cooperate and coordinate in order to make the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative a grand success in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, the ZEO Hajin, Mohammad Akbar said that under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Mega Tiranga rally was kick-started in Zone Hajin in which a number of students have participated and this will continue till 15th Aug,ust. Besides, number of events will be conducted ahead of 15 Aug,ust celebration, he added
Three schools have participated in this mega rally with full enthusiasm and every school will take part in Har Ghar Tiranga programme to make it successful.
He expressed joy for the enthusiastic participation of students in the Tiranga rally.
Girl students sang National anthem songs during the event to make it a colourful event.
Earlier, Zone Hajin secured 2nd position in two competitions held at district level, Akbar added.
Similarly, tiranga rally was held by Municipal Committee Hajin where MC Chairman, Irshad Ahmad Wani, ADC Bandipora, Executive Officer MC and several other officials participated in the rally.
