Machail Mata Yatra-2022 : ADDC Kishtwar reviews facilities, quality services for pilgrims at holy Shrine

Kishtwar:Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar Sham Lal, who is also Nodal Officer Machail Mata Yatra-2022, on Sunday visited Shree Machail Mata Ji Shrine and took stock of the facilities, quality of services, well-being of Yatries, volunteers, besides inspection of langars and facilitation centres established there.
The Nodal Officer also took stock of the Donation Boxes and the accounts related work. He exhorted the Accounts personnel deployed there to place in meticulous account mechanism and maintain proper record in the shrine for ensuring transparency and accountability.
The Nodal officer also inspected the cleanliness and sanitation conditions in and around the shrine and Langer sites. The functioning of CCTV cameras installed for the surveillance was also reviewed by the Nodal Officer. He directed for regular inspection of lodging, food, health facilities, sanitation and maintaining cleanliness at the shrine and along the Yatra route.
He was briefed by the Duty Magistrates about the arrangements including power and water supply, sanitation, toilet units, street lighting, healthcare facilities, fire tenders, Traffic situation etc at the base camp along the route and Holy shrine.
The Nodal Officer expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by local administration in collaboration with District administration to ensure a safe and smooth Yatra. It was informed that adequate men and machinery are in place at vulnerable spots to tackle any exigency.
At GulabGarh, the ADDC/Nodal officer took the day wise status of the Yatries arriving at the Base Camp and Yatries who have returned from the shrine after paying obeisance.
While interacting with the yatries, stakeholders, and members of Langer management committees, Nodal Officer/ADDC enquired about their experience of the ongoing pilgrimage.
He also extended his best wishes to the pilgrims for a safe spiritual pilgrimage.
The ADDC was accompanied by TehsildarAtholi, Rohit Kumar; BDO Paddar, Ravi Kumar; Duty Magistrate Machail and other concerned officers/officials.
