Doda : The Childline Doda on Monday organised an awareness programme at Government High School Nagar Bhaderwah.
The team of Childline Doda provided Hygienic Kits to the Adolescent girls and celebrated Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav by distributing National Flag among the Children.
The children were informed about the toll free no 1098 which they can use to report about a child facing any type of atrocity. The team briefed them about the child rights, child abuse, child trafficking, child labour, child marriage, Corporal punishment and legal protection against the same. “Children can call any time on 1098 to report if they feel any difficulty or stress”, the team advised the participants.
The Staff Members of the School extended full support to the Childline team in conducting the awareness programme. Incharge Headmistress, Farida Akhter; District Coordinator, Meenakshi Raina; Staff of the School Ranju Devi; Laila Kouser, Murtha Qazi and other officials along with the children were present on the occasion.
