Pulwama : In connection with ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ initiative of government, a colourful cultural programme was organised by Higher Secondary School (HSS), Rahmoo in collaboration with Chief Education Office, Pulwama on Monday.
The program was presided over by Principal Higher Secondary School Rahmoo and was attended by the staff members and students.
The programme highlighted the cultural vibrancy of Kashmir showcasing Band Pather, Nukad Natak, Bach e Nagmi and Roaff.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal HSS stressed on the need to organise such programs across the length and breadth of the country so that diverse cultural threads are preserved and revered as well.
The programme concluded with the pledge, “while we celebrate 75th year of Independence we need to keep our rich traditions and culture afloat, and set the goal of preparing our students for academic excellence”.
The NSS Unit of the institution was appreciated for their selfless service in managing the program.
