Bike rally kick starts in Rajouri to promote Har Ghar Tiranga campaign

Rajouri : In continuation to the series of activities being organised in the district as part of ongoing HarGharTiranga campaign, the District Administration Rajouri on Saturday organised a bike rally.
The rally was flagged off by the Deputy Commissioner, VikasKundal. The rally started from Salani Bridge and culminated at Sports Stadium Kheora after passing through Muradpur and Badhoon circuit. As many as 100 bikers from across the district participated in the rally.
Among others present at the event included SSP, MohdAslam; PO ICDS, ShoketMehmood Malik; DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt; AD FCS&CA, Arief Lone; DYSSO, Sunil Samyal; ARTO, Shami Kumar and AD Planning, Mohd Rafi.
Speaking at the event, the Deputy Commissioner said that the objective of the rally was to generate awareness among the general public about HarGharTiranga, NashaMukht Bharat abhiyan, digital services, road safety and Jan Bhagidari.
“District Administration is organising such events to amplify the awareness of ‘HarGharTiranga’, the Government of India initiative to inculcate a personal connect between the citizens of India and the National Flag”, the DC said.
He also said that the rally would add more enthusiasm among the public and respect for our Tricolour.
The Deputy Commissioner also called for coordination and cooperation of all stakeholders to make the initiative a grand success in the district.
