Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: B’pora Schools abuzz with activities under ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign

B’pora : The Cultural Education Wing of Chief Education Office (CEO) Bandipora in collaboration with District Administration Bandipora on Saturday conducted District Level National Anthem Singing Competition and Debate Competition on “Role of Our Freedom Fighters” at HS Bagh, here.
20 participants from all zones both private and government schools, participated in the programmes.
Deputy CEO Bandipora, Mohammad RafeeqParray was the chief guest on the occasion.
In his adressDy CEO Bandipora M RafeeqParray highlighted the importance of ‘AzadikaAmritMahaotsav’ with regard to 75th year of Independence. He impressed upon all the participants to make the day successful and take part in the coming events in connection with ‘AzadiKaAmritMahotsav’.
DrReyazUl Hassan, District Cultural Coordinator on the occasion threw light on the theme of the program. The entire proceedings of the debate were carried out by the dice incharge, MuntazirMuneer, Zonal Cultural Coordinator Zone Hajin.
The jury members for the competition were Hashim Hassan Caretaker HSS Matrigam; Manzoor Ahmad Dar, Sr. Lecturer HSS Ajas; Malik Nazir, Teacher GHSS Bandipora and Sheikh Showkat, Teacher Sheikh Colony; Sajad Ahmad Malik, Shaukat Ahmad and Tulkaran Singh ASI DPL Bandipora.
ZEO’s from all Zones were also present in the said program.The participating students and their escort Teachers took keen interest in the debate and National Anthem to make the event successful.
AtherArif from MS KhairporaArin secured first position in National Anthem singing competition while UmadaBhat from HS Asham and Sayed Danish from HSS Gadkund secured second and third position respectively.
NajmaShakeel from HS Ahamsharief secured first position in Debate on Role of Freedom Fighters while MehrunNisa from HSS Hajin and AribaWani AGS Bandipora secured second and third position respectively.
On the occasion Vote of thanks was presented by Mohammad Sayed Shah ZEO Bandipora.
Notably, a series of activities are being held in various schools of the District on a daily basis as part of HarGharTiranga campaign and run up to Independence Day, 2022 celebrations.
