Distt Admin Rajouri provides Rs 12.04 Lakh financial assistance to dependents of deceased labourer

Rajouri Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal on Friday provided death compensation of Rs 1204341 to the dependents of deceased labourer, Mohd Khalil under Workmen Compensation Act.
Among the others, BDC Chairperson Qila Darhal, Khalid Firdoz and ALC, Manisha were also present on the occasion.
The ALC informed that the act protects the rights of the laborers after they encounter some disability or death due to an accident during work.
The DC provided Rs 25000, Rs 25000, Rs 20000, Rs 20000 and Rs 304341 to father, mother, wife, sister and brother of the deceased labourer under workmen compensation act.
While interacting with the beneficiaries, the Deputy Commissioner inquired about their well-being and reiterated that the District Administration was taking all possible measures for the wellbeing of the labourers of the district so that they don’t face any inconveniences.
