DC Jmu interacts with trainees at C-DYTE Bishnah

Jammu : Deputy Commissioner Jammu Avny Lavasa on Friday visited Centre for District Youth Training and Empowerment (C-DYTE) here at Bishnah and interacted with the trainees.
A simple but impressive function was organised by C-DYTE where the trainees apprised the DC regarding their training and other activities through a video presentation.
The Trainees expressed full satisfaction over the training activities being conducted in the Centre and expressed gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner for extending the golden opportunity to the youth of the block Bishnah to prepare for different Examinations.
The Deputy Commissioner also listened to the issues raised by trainees like erection of obstacles for practice, washroom for girls, drinking water facility, maintenance of track field etc.
She assured the trainees of early redressal and expressed satisfaction over the training routine followed at the Centre.
The Deputy Commissioner also distributed track suits among the trainees.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that apart from taking training the aspirants should learn to become good citizens and contribute towards nation building.
She said that practice and training at C-DYTE not only make the trainees physically and mentally fit but also keep them away from the menace of drugs.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner also listened to the grievances of the locals.
The DC gave patient hearing to the delegations and passed on the spot directions to the concerned officers for early redressal of their genuine grievances.
