GDC Ramban conducts Distt Level Inter-College Singing, Essay Writing & Debate Competition

Ramban : The NSS, Debates and Seminar Committee of GDC Ramban on Wednesday organized a district-level inter-college competition in Debate, Singing, and Essay writing in the run-up to Independence Day celebrations and as a part of AzadikaAmritMahotsav.
The programme was held under the patronage of the Principal of the College, Prof SubhashChander Sharma, in which students from GDC Ramban, GDC Gool, GDC Banihal, GDC Ukhral and GDC Batote took part in the aforementioned categories of competition.
A large gathering of audience both students and faculty of GDC Ramban and from other colleges were present in the event.
ShabnamAkhtar from GDC Ramban secured the first position while Mehbooba Sultan from GDC Gool bagged second position in the singing competition.
Mubashir Ahmed from GDC Banihal secured 1st position and SamreenChoudharry from GDC Ramban clinched 2nd position in the debate competition.
Likewise, ShafiaShabnum from GDC Gool bagged the first position and Sunil Singh from GDC Batote got 2nd position in essay writing competition.
All other contestants were given certificates of participation and medals. Prof Chanakya Sharma, HOD Music GDC Ramban, mesmerised the audience by singing Patriotic songs.
Prof Vijay Kumar Sharma conducted the proceedings, while Prof Vickey Rattan, NSS program Officer, monitored the overall conduct of activities related to the event.
The program ended with the remarks of Prof Shah-e-JahanGanaiincharge Principal GDC Gool.
