DC chairs block Diwas proceedings at Kathua

DM assures quality disposal of public grievances by distt admin

Kathua : To listen and redress the grievances of common masses, Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rahul Pandey on Wednesday convened a public outreach Camp here at DC Office complex.
During the camp, the PRIs projected the issues of public importance and sought immediate redressal of the same.
The PRIs and public delegations demanded repair of Sahar bridge, installation of electric poles, opening of Veterinary hospital at Jakhbar, up-gradation of transformer at Sahar, protection walls on the surrounding nallas, early completion of bridge over Mui Nallah, meeting of shortage of patwaris, vaccination of animals in Panchayat Burthain, channelization of Sahar river, Aadhar seeding, provision of addition of new members in the ration cards, early payment of pending land compensation.
The issue of hike in charges for availing revenue services, release of second installment of Awas Plus Yojana and early completion of Jothana Bridge were also projected.
Responding to the demands, the Deputy Commissioner assured quality disposal of the issues requiring intervention of district administration and projection of issues involving policy matters at appropriate levels.
The DDC Vice Chairman Raghunandan Singh, BDC Chairman Barnoti, BDC Chairman Nagari, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Education Officer, Officers of other departments, panches, sarpanches and a large number of people were present on the occasion.
Similarly, Block Diwas proceedings were also held at Basohli and Billawar sub divisions.
