Medical Assessment cum Measurement Camps held for children special at Udhampur

Udhampur : A Medical Assessment cum Measurement Camp for children with special needs (CWSN)/ Physical challenged children in the age group 6-18 years was on Tuesday organized here at Central Middle School Udhampur.
The Camp was organized under the chairmanship of the Chief Education Officer, Arvind Kumar Koul, in collaboration with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporate of India (ALIMCO), Mohali Punjab and Medical Department of Udhampur.
In the camp, the CWSN of different schools and out of school children of three zones i-e Jib, Tikri and Udhampur were covered. In this Camp, 147 children in total were assessed including 36 from zone Jib, 39 from zone Tikri and 72 from zone Udhampur.
Refreshment as well as to and fro charges were also been paid to the CWSN and their one parent/ Guardian/Teacher accompanying the Children.
Similar camps are being organized for other educational zones of the District which include Babey and Majalta Zone at MS Bharnara, Ghordi Zone at ZEO Office Ghordi, Ramnagar and Kulwanta Zone at Dak Bungalow Ramnagar, Pancheri Zone at GPS Pancheri, Chenani Zone at CMS Chenani and Dudu Zone at HS Dudu Kirchi.
