Srinagar: Additional Director General J&K Armed Police S.J.M Gillani on Monday decorated Riyaz Ahmad and Khurshid Ahmad of Armed Police Headquarters with ranks on their promotion as HC.
According to a statement issued from the Police Headquarter on Monday, an impressive pipping ceremony was held on Monday at Armed Police Headquarters Srinagar to decorate these officials. The ADGP congratulated the newly promoted HCs and wished them successful professional career. On this occiasion, Syed Sajad Hussain-DySP(S) Pvt. Secy. to ADGP & Ab. Rashid PA to ADGP were also present.
According to the above referred police statement, the official has confirmed that during the month of July, 2022, Armed Police Headquarters J&K has completed the promotion process of 635 Police personnel of J&K Armed Police, which include promotion of 10 ASIs as SI, 185 HCs as ASI and 440 SgCts as HC.
While congratulating the newly promoted HCs the ADGP said the promotion process of more than 600 Constables to the rank of SgCts is under consideration and by the mid of this month that will also be finalized.
