ADC reviews I’ Day arrangements at M.A Stadium

Jammu : Additional Deputy Commissioner (L&O) Minga Sherpa on Monday conducted on the spot inspection of the arrangements for Independence Day 2022 celebration, here at M.A Stadium.
Threadbare discussion was held with regard to the security arrangements, traffic regulation, seating arrangements, Full Dress Rehearsal, decoration of venue, Shahnai vadan, provision of PAS, Power and water supply, transport arrangements, sanitation, Medicare facilities, distribution of invitation cards, Barricading at venue of the function and other vital issues.
The ADC inquired from the security agencies and police about security arrangements being put in place by their respective departments. He directed them to make fool-proof arrangements in advance for the National event.
The ADC asked the Deputy Director Information for making the arrangements for Public Address System, Media coordination for proper coverage and Shehnai Vadan.
Jammu Municipal Corporation and PHE too were asked to ensure drinking water at the venue on the day of I-Day celebrations.
The PDD and Jal Shakti department were directed to ensure proper management of electricity and water including provision of water tankers service.
The CMO was asked to make arrangements for medical facilities including staff and ambulances at the venue.
The meeting was attended by Commissioner JMC Rahul Yadav, ACR Vijay Kumar, Deputy Director Information (PR) Dr. Vikas Sharma along with senior officers from Police, Security, Jal Shakti, Health, Sports and Youth Affairs and other concerned departments were present on the occasion.
