Retiring SSP, ASI accorded warm send-off in Jammu

Jammu : IRP-7th Bn today accorded warm send off to retiring Commandant, MS Chouhan and ASI Kuldeep Raj here at a function hosted in the Bn. Hqrs. Seri Kot Bhalwal.
All the Officers of the Battalion and others based in Jammu were present.
The main function was presided over by Vivek Gupta, DIG Traffic Jammu, who while speaking on the occasion, lauded the role of the retiring SSP for his selfless service, indomitable spirit, impeccable integrity, exemplary commitment and inspiring leadership qualities in his about 32 years of service.
The retiring officer, who has a wide experience and served as SDPO Mahore, DySP Kargil, ASP Security Jammu, ASP Reasi, SSP Reasi, SSP Doda, CO IRP 12th Bn. and SO to the IGP Crime J&K, is also a recipient of DGP Commendation Medal 2013 and Police Medal for Meritorious Service-2021. The DIG also wished luck to the retiree officer for a happy post retirement life.
Others present on the occasion notably include Vikas Gupta, OSD to DGP Prisons, Koual Arma, SSP Traffic Jammu, Kulbir Singh, CO IRP-18th Bn, Mumtaz Ahmed, SSP CO Border 1st Bn. Tahir Sajad Bhat, SSP CO JKAP-8th Bn, Ahzad Ahmed Salaria, SSP APCR Jammu, Retired SSP Manzoor Dalal.
Earlier, while starting the programme, Faiooq Qaiser Dy. Commandant gave a brief resume of service profile of the SSP and also presented the vote of thanks.
A plantation drive was also held on the occasion in which all the officers present planted trees in the Bn premises.
In another function which was presided over by Farooq Qaiser-JKPS, Dy. Commandant IRP-7th Bn, a send off was given to ASI Kuldeep Raj who retired after 39 years of unblemished service. While speaking on the occasion, the Dy. Commandant appreciated the ASI for his relentless services in different capacities and presented him a gift as a token of love for the retiree officer.
