Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police on Friday claimed to have arrested two hybrid militants of Lashkar-e-Tobia (LeT) and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Police in a tweet said that Kupwara police and Army arrested two hybrid militants identified as Talib Ahmad Sheikh of Laderwan Kupwara and Shameem Ahmad of Kawadi Laderwan Kupwara.
Police further said that the arrested militants are affiliated with militant outfit Lashkar-e-Tobia while 04 pistols, 08 pistol magazines, 130 pistol rounds and 10 hand grenades recovered.
