Doda : In continuation to the JK Green Drive 2022-23 inaugurated by Lt. Governor, Manoj Sinha at AIIMS in Samba district, Department of Forest Doda, in collaboration with JK Police, organised a plantation drive in the District Police Lines. As many as 20 saplings of different species were put down to roots in premises of District Police Lines.
The drive was attended by SSP Doda, Abdul Qayoom; Addl. SP operations, Raj Kumar; Dy. SP Hqrs Doda, Jaswant Singh; DySP DAR Doda, Shoket Ali and Ramesh Kumar Councillor MC Doda.
Pertinently, the JK Green drive is being carried under One beat guard One Village, Har Gaon Haryali, Ek ped beti ke naam etc.
Similar drives were organised at different places across Doda Forest Division.
The event was organised by Range Officer Siraj Adil Shan and Range Officer Soil Haroon Khan under the supervision of Conservator of Forests, Chenab Circle, Dr.Jitendra Singh.
