HC of J&K, Ladakh to hold preliminary scrutiny of the steno typist aspirants

Srinagar: All the applicants who have applied for the divisional cadre posts of Steno Typist in Subordinate Judiciary of Jammu & Kashmir, pursuant to the Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2022/Psy dated 01.01.2022, are being informed that the competent authority on the recommendation of the Selection committee has now decided to hold preliminary scrutiny of the candidates by conducting two rounds of preliminary examination.
As per an official statement issued here it was informed that the two rounds of preliminary examination shall comprise of first for typing and second for shorthand.
It was given out that the candidates, who would be successful by meeting the minimum standard as already laid down, in the first round, shall be considered for the second round. The candidates, who would qualify the second round of preliminary examination by meeting the minimum standards as already laid down, shall be considered for the final skill test i.e. actual skill test to determine the merit of such candidates for the selection.
First round of preliminary examination shall be qualifying in nature and shall be computer and software based, to record speed and accuracy in typing.
The candidates, who would meet the minimum standards of typing skill, shall be considered for the second round of qualifying test for recording speed and accuracy in shorthand. The date, time and venue of the test will be notified separately.
