Ang : The NSS Unit and Debates and Seminar Committee of Government Degree College (GDC) Anantnag Tuesday organised a seminar cum rally on “BetiBachaoBetiPadav ” (BBBP).
The Programme was hosted by BenikshaNazir, a 4th Sem. student, also an NSS Volunteer. Prof. Syed JavaidHussain gave the welcome address and presided over the session.
Prof. MubashirKaul and Prof. ZeenatKhurshid were the speakers of the day and they deliberated on the theme.
Student Speakers AlimaFayaz, 3rd Sem and AsmatAyub, 3rd Sem also had their words on the said topic.
The session was concluded by vote of thanks presented by Dr.Waheed Ahmad Khanday. Seminar was followed by a rally within the college campus in which NSS Volunteers displayed placards and banners highlighting the slogan “BetiBachaoBetiPadav”.
