Those who educate children well are more to be honored than they who produce them; for these only gave them life, those the art of living well… Aristotle

Teacher’s are a special blessing from God to us. They are the one who build a good nation and make the world better place. A teacher teaches us the importance of a pen over that of a sword. They are much esteemed in society as they elevate the living standards of people. Moreover, teacher’s have a great impact on society in their students life. They also have great importance in a parent’s life as parents expect a lot from teachers for their kids. Similarly, a good teacher is like a friend that helps us in all our troubles. A good teacher assures their students are learning efficiently and scoring good marks. Most importantly, good teachers will understand their students problems and try to deal with them correctly. They make the student feel like they always have someone to talk if they can’t do it at home or with their friends. One of the attributes of Allah about which the Qur’an talks, is of being a teacher. He (Allah) taught man what he didn’t know (96:5). It is He , who has taught humans about nature and after that sent the messenger’s to teach further. The prophet Mohammed (PBUH) considered himself, which he of course was, a TEACHER.
A good teacher is one that motivates the students to always keep trying and do their best. However an ethilical and virtuous teacher is one who changes a student’s life forever and shapes their character into being a successful and respectful haman being. Teacher’s have an important part in our lives and they impact us every day. Not only do they teach us something new each passing day they also give us lessons that we will use in every decision we make in our lives. Luckily, I was able to have a teacher who pushed me beyond all my limits and always believed in me. That marvelous teacher is no one other than – KAR KHURSHEED AALAM. He is not only my teacher but he is also my role model and my inspiration. He pushed me when I believed that I couldn’t achieve success or meet my goals. I never had confidence in myself and I would always give up easily when a task was too difficult. However, my teacher never gave up on me and continued to motivate me even through my tantrums. My low confidence came from me not being able to be at the same level as the other students. He used to say that we should use the right words when we speak because with good words you can make a place in a person’s heart. His nature is such that he respects everyone. His words and deeds go deep into everyone’s heart. He teache us in the class with great interest. If a student doesn’t understand something he try to explain it in a different way so that all the students understand. He is rich at heart. If a poor student has a problem, he help him/her. He doesn’t descriminate against any student in the class. All teachers appreciate him. I want to incorporate the same qualities into my work and inspire my young ones just as he did for me. In fact I cannot think of a day he was not smiling. I can describe him as a happy, passionate person who loved his job and everything he did. I choose this special present because I wanted you to know that I’m grateful for your hardwork in helping me. For your constant understanding and for always being there to tell me I can do it and to show me that you care. You are far more than a teacher but a father figure.
