Udhampur : Department of Computer Applications, in collaboration with IT cell of Government Degree College Ramnagar, Monday organised an awareness programme on “Government e-services” as part of Digital Week launched by the J&K Government.
The event was organized under the Patronage of the college Principal, Dr. Udhey Bhanu and guidance of Prof. Suresh Kumar Dogra, HOD Physics.
At the outset, Dr. Udhey Bhanu highlighted the benefits of the services provided through online mode and asked the students to learn to use these services and also spread awareness about the same in their localities.
Prof. Aditya Sharma, HOD Computer Applications and resource person for Monday’s lecture, informed the participants about the varied online platforms created by the J&K Government for providing services to the people.
He also enumerated the services that are available online and the general steps to register and apply for these services. The whole proceedings were coordinated by Prof. Sonam Gandotra, Organizing Secretary of the event.
Prof. Mushtaq Ahmed presented the vote of thanks.
