Arrangements for Digital week mela finalised at Udhampur

Udhampur : In order to ensure smooth conduct of Digital week 2022 digital empowerment of citizens which is commencing from 25th of July in the District Saturday Additional Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Mohammad Syed Khan convened a meeting of officers of various department at Conference Hall DC Office Udhampur.
Detailed deliberations were held on various arrangements related to smooth conduct of Digital mela like Security, Deployment of magistrates, Installation of departmental stalls, Sanitation, Medical facility, Drinking water and power supply etc.
Executive Engineer PDD was directed to provide uninterrupted power supply while the PHE department was asked to provide drinking water facility during the Digi week mela. Concerned departments were directed to install departmental stalls of online programmes/services being provided to the general public by their respective departments.
CEO MC was asked to ensure cleaning of premises besides CMO was asked to deploy medical staff and ensure provision of requisite medical facilities, masks and sanitizer at the venue.
374 Vaccinated, 1147 samples collected in Ramban
Ramban : As per the report issued by the District Immunization Officer, Ramban, Dr, Suresh the Health Department Saturday administered the vaccination to 374 persons in the district.
Continuing the enforcement drive to implement Covid protocol across the district Ramban, the Enforcement teams Saturday fined scores of violators for roaming without wearing face masks and not maintaining physical distance.
The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest CVC.
As per daily bulletin issued by the Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, the Health Department has collected 1147 samples including 367 RT-PCR and 780 RAT samples besides administering Covid vaccine to 374 persons at various dedicated Vaccination Centres in the district.
