Arrangements for Digital India Week finalised in Rajouri

DC asks for motivating public to avail online services

Rajouri : District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting of concerned officers to finalize the arrangements for the celebration of Digital India Week.
Among the others who attended the meeting included PO ICDS, Shoket Mehmood Malik; ACR, Imran Rashid Kataria; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt; ExEn PWD Rajouri, Maqbool Hussain; ExEn JPDCL and other concerned officers.
Addressing the meeting, the DDC said that with the vision of Digital transformation of J&K, a digital J&K week has been proposed to be organized. He said series of events would be held from 25th to 31th July 2022 in the district with the aim to ensure digital access, digital deliverable of services and digital inclusion of all.
The DDC directed the concerned officers to put up hoardings/banners with the detailed information about the online services pertaining to their departments.
They were also directed to depute resource persons of their departments along with pamphlets to generate awareness among the masses regarding online services available with their departments and motivate them to avail the necessary benefits of the same.
The DDC asked the concerned departments to work in cohesion for the smooth and successful celebration of the event and ensure that all the arrangements for the program are put in place well in advance.
The DDC also to educate and motivate the public to avail benefits of varied online services available with their deptts.
