Police facilitates Coordination meeting with Traders & Transporters in Budgam

Srinagar :In view of upcoming holy month of Muharram-ul-Haram, Police facilitated coordination meeting with traders & transporters in Budgam.
According to a police statement issued here on Wednesday the meeting was chaired by Dy SP Headquarters Budgam, Naeem Wani, besides SHO Police Station Budgam and other senior officers also participated and during the meeting discussions were held on various security and public issues regarding Muharram arrangements and threadbare discussions were held on various aspects of arrangements including ensuring proper security deployment, traffic management and availability of other amenities related to Police and during the meeting, the chairing officer assured that possible assistance will be provided by Police during the Muharram days.
Police in it’s statement further said that the participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating such interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
