Prof. A. H. Moon, Dean Research IUST, presided over the function and spoke about the immense opportunities available for innovation, especially in the paramedical sector. He advised the students to think innovatively and use their skills not only to engage themselves but also to generate new employment avenues. Mohd. Dr. Parvez A. Mir, Director CIED, encouraged the students to look for innovations in common medical devices wherein CIED would provide the necessary support to convert the idea into a prototype. “Society before self should be your goal”, he said.
