Jammu : Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar on Tuesday chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review the progress of work on Jammu Metropolitan Region Development Authority (JMRDA) Projects.
The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman JDA, Pankaj Magotra; Chief Town Planner Jammu, Architect, Devinder Gupta, Engineers of PWD and other concerned officers.
According to a statement issued here, up-gradation work for development of Transport Nagar, an ever-busy business hub of Jammu would start shortly as the project has been approved under JMRDA.
The Div Com directed the concerned officers to pursue for technical sanction and finalise the tenders at the earliest to facilitate early start of work on the prestigious project.
It was informed that the up-gradation project includes road development, improvement of drainage system and development of other required facilities. The Div Com also reviewed the status of several other projects of JMRDA.
