Ujjwal Bharat, Ujjwal Bhavishya Week:DDC finalises arrangements for proposed activities

Poonch :District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet on Monday chaired a meeting of concerned officers here to discuss and finalize the plan of activities in connection with observing Ujjwal Bharat, Ujjwal Bhavishya, Power @ 2047 week under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
As per a press statement, in the meeting it was informed that as part of the weeklong celebration, the programme in the district will be organised at Govt. Degree College Poonch on 25th of July 2022 and at Govt. Degree College Surankote on 27th of July 2022.
“The Programme will showcase achievements in the power sector, including the renewable energy sector along with a vision of the nation in this sector by 2047 when the country completes 100 years of Independence” the meeting was informed.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers for making all preparations to ensure successful celebration of the Ujjwal Bharat Ujjwal Bhavishya week.
The meeting was informed that during the programme various cultural events will be presented including Nukad Nataks and theme based skits etc. by J&K Academy of Art Culture & languages.
The concerned departments were directed to cooperate and work in coordination for the successful conduct of the programme.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Abdul Sattar, Additional Superintendent of Police, Moushim Hamid, Assistant Commissioner Development, Abid Hussain, Principal Govt. Degree College Poonch, Prof.Mussarat Hussain Shah, Principal Govt. Degree Surankote, Dr.Jasbir Singh, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Shafiq Mir, SDM Surankote, Naheem un Nissa Bhatti, District Information Officer, Vishaldeep Chandan, Functional Manager DIC, Zamood Ahmed, SE JPDCL Circle Rajouri-Poonch, Xen PDD, Irshad Hussain, Culture Officer, Alamdar Adam, EO Municipality, Mushtaq Hussain besides other concerned officers.
