Ujjwal Bharat, Ujjwal Bhavishya Week: DDC Reviews preparations for grand celebrations in Doda, Bhaderwah

Doda : District Development Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma on Monday took stock of preparations and calendar of activities for observing Ujjwal Bharat, Ujjwal Bhavishya, Power @ 2047 week here at a follow-up meeting of concerned officers.
As per an official statement, the DC reviewed the action taken on decisions taken in the last meeting held on July 12. It was informed that main function shall be held at Community Hall Doda on 26th of July and at Community Hall Bhaderwah on 28th of July to showcase the achievements made in the power sector in the last 75 years (Ujjwal Bharat Ujjwal Bhavishya Program) under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Besides, events under Bijli Mahotsav have been scheduled at Dhandal habitation of Bhagwah Block on 27th of July and at Tanta habitation of Thathri Block on 29th of July.
Senior Manager NHPC (HR) Kishtwar was asked to prepare the updated Action Plan of both the mega events at Doda and Bhaderwah.
Sr Manager NHPC along with SE, JPDCL Doda-Kishtwar were entrusted with the task to manage the organisation of different activities between July 25 and July 31 on the theme to highlight the schemes, efforts and achievements of the department.
The meeting was further informed that Cultural Officer Doda along with Chief Education Officer Doda shall organise Nukkad Nataks and cultural programmes on the theme at Community Hall Doda on 26th July and at Community Hall Bhaderwah on 28th July.
Further, the meeting discussed in detail and entrusted the responsibility for arrangement of PAS, Sound system, refreshment to contingents and guests, Hall management, Stage decoration, seating arrangements and other logistics.
The meeting was attended by ADC Doda, ADC Bhaderwah, SE JPDCL, Senior Manager (HR) NHPC, CPO, CEO Doda, DIO DIPR Doda, TO Bhaderwah, BDO Headquarters Doda, EO MC Doda/ Bhaderwah, Cultural Officer and other concerned officers.
