Police registers FIR against an unauthorized joinery mill in Handwara

Srinagar : Continuing its efforts to eradicate inimical elements from the society, Police in Handwara have registered FIR against an unauthorized/unregistered Joinery Mill at Dohama Vilgam.
In a statement issued here on Monday police said that a Police party of PS Vilgam on Monday initiated legal action against an unauthorized joinery mill at Village Dohama and accordingly a case vide FIR No. 77/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Vilgam and investigation has been initiated.
Police in it’s statement further said that mill was found to be operational without the relevant permits following which the accused person, operating the mill unauthorisedly, was identified as Irshad Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Mohd Mir resident of Dohama, Vilgam.
Police in the concluding para of it’s above referred statement appealed people to share information regarding inimical elements in their areas, so that strict legal action under law is initiated against the accused.
