ADC Doda Reviews ATR on Directions of Manthala Roads

Doda :Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda Dr Ravi Kumar Bharti on Monday reviewed the action taken report on directions issued during last Block Diwas proceedings at Panchayat Manthala, regarding the roads leading to Manthala panchayat and adjoining areas.
As per an official spokesman in a statement issued here, it was informed that work of Dumanda to Jai via Manthala Road stands allotted at an estimated cost of Rs 12.73crore. “Work on the 3.3 Km stretch is on, while the rest of the 7 KM necessary forest clearance has been obtained and extraction of trees shall be started soon” the meeting was told.
While reviewing the progress on Jia Dumanda via Thuba Road, it was informed that the process of tendering and preparation of BOQ under NABARD at an estimated cost of Rs 6.62 crore is under process.
Progress on Link road from KM 4th to Kansar road, Drudu-Neota to Manwah Road, Link road to Bagg, Dalain to Dhanda road, was also discussed and directions were issued to complete the forest clearance and other paperwork and start extraction of forest trees to benefit the people of the targeted areas at the earliest.
Besides, the bottlenecks hampering the construction of 9 other roads of the area were discussed with the concerned authorities and directions were issued to Forest Department to start the extraction of tress immediately after the approval of the roads where the compensation has been deposited and necessary papers have been uploaded on PARVESH Portal.
The PWD officials were directed to take the assistance of Revenue authorities, Police and other concerned agencies, while dealing with the hindrances in execution of work on the important roads. They were also directed to get the court stays vacated on the construction of public roads by defending the public interest in the concerned courts.
The meeting was attended by Ex En PWD Bhaderwah, DM- SFC Doda and other concerned officials.
