He has urged the government to provide adequate ex- gratia relief to bereaved families besides providing best possible medical treatment to the injured youth.
Hakeem has also prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. He has urged the government to take urgent measures to check increasing number of road accidents by taking stern action against violators of traffic rules. He has appealed to the parents not to allow their underage children to drive vehicles especially two wheelers without driving licenses. He said underage and premature children generally lack patience and sense of responsibility and also do not posses knowledge of traffic rules , which becomes the cause of various dreaded road accidents . He said parents in no case, should come under the pressure of their underage siblings and allow them to drive vehicles especially two wheelers.
