DC Shopian tours Kaprin, Ramnagri, Inspects hospital & school, takes stock of developmental works

Shopian : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya on Saturday conducted an extensive tour of Kaprin and Ramnagri blocks of the district, to inspect provision of healthcare and education facilities besides taking stock of development works.
During his visit, the DC inspected Govt. PHC Sedow and directed healthcare officials to provide best services to the people. He also interacted with the people and enquired about the services being provided in the health centre besides enquiring about the health of the inmates.
Besides taking stock of developmental activities with the concerned, the DC then inspected a pond construction work site at Rangmarg, Sedow undertaken for execution under the Amrit Sarovar programme.
He also visited Govt. Higher Secondary School, Kaprin and inspected the working of the institution and interacted with staff and students.
The DC was accompanied by DDC member, Ramnagri, Safia Riyaz, CPO Shopian, Khursheed Ah Khatana, BDOs of the concerned blocks and other officers and officials of various departments.
