Rajouri :Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal on Saturday presented awards to best 30 performing schools under Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar (SVP).
The award ceremony was organised by the Department of Education here in the Conference Hall of the PWD Dak Bunglow.
The selected schools were felicitated for showing best performance in maintaining cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene.
While highlighting the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation, the DC directed all the schools to focus on cleanliness parameters and perform best in Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar competitions.
The programme was attended by ADDC, Pawan Kumar; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; CEO Education, Shailash Kumari; Principal GMGHSS Rajouri, Abdul Raof Dar and others.
