Central Team Concludes 3- Day Tour of Udhampur Distt

Udhampur : A Central Team led by Ambarish Narayan Barman, Director Ministry of Defence, Government of India, New Delhi on Saturday concluded the 3- day tour to Udhampur district.
As per an official spokesman, during the tour team visited Khoon and Majalta blocks and inspected works/ activities being executed by PHE in connection with Jal Shakti Abhiyan. The Team visited Panchayats of twin blocks viz Channi, Jansal, Thial, Sundla and inspected ongoing works of ponds.
The main objective of conducting this visit was to review the progress and implementation of Jal Shakti Abhiyan schemes on the ground and their impact on the local level.
The Central team exhorted upon the officers to maintain transparency and accountability in all the works being executed in PHE and other sectors. They impressed upon the officers to work with zeal and dedication to achieve the set targets set for the current financial year. The team further stressed on close monitoring of ongoing works to ensure quality and adherence to timelines. PRIs warmly welcomed the Central team on their visit to District Udhampur.
