Rajouri : District Level Task Force Committee for Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) Friday approved 40 cases at its meeting chaired by District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal.
Officers present in the meeting included CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; GM DIC, Ashwini Sharma; LDM, Jyoti Prakash Sharma; PO DUDA, Kavita and other concerned officers.
The meeting, after a threadbare discussion and scrutiny of the applications put up in the meeting, approved 40 cases.
The scheme offers gainful Self-Employment and skilled wage employment opportunities to reduce poverty and vulnerability of the urban poor households.
The DC asked the concerned officer to educate the public about the benefits of the scheme and ensure that maximum beneficiaries are covered under the scheme.
