Rajouri admin gears up to launch ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign

Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal Friday chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to discuss the modalities for launching ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign in the district.
Officers who attended the meeting included ACD, Vijay Kumar; CEO Education, Shailash Kumari; Principals of Degree colleges, AD Planning, Mohd Rafi; ZEOs and other concerned officers.
At the outset, the meeting was apprised that under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the government has launched “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign to encourage people to hoist the national flag at their homes to mark the 75th Independence Day.
Detailed deliberations were held on different aspects of the campaign and the DC directed the officers to assess the demand for flags required for hoisting on Institutional and Residential buildings across the district under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Programme.
The DC said the programme was aimed at invoking a feeling of patriotism in the hearts of people and promoting a sense of respect for the symbols of Independence.
The DC also called for coordination and cooperation among all stakeholders to make the initiative a grand success.
