Kupwara : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir Friday chaired a preparatory meeting of all concerned officers and field functionaries to review the preparations for conduct of Joint Umbrella Camp (JUC) phase 4th on July 16 (Saturday) in 65 identified panchayats of all 24 blocks of the district.
The DDC stressed upon all the participants to ensure greater coordination so that more beneficiaries get registered and 100 percent saturation is achieved.
He directed JD Planning to share proforma with all 65 Umbrella Camp officials so that they can get basic information about saturation of different schemes from the field. He directed them to ask people whether they are covered with different Government schemes like immunization, vaccination of animals, Golden Cards etc.
He also directed Tehsildars to make sure that patwaris attend JUCs.
The DDC said that the ADDC, ADCs and SDMs shall inspect proceedings of JUCs apart from already constituted District and Block level Monitoring Teams.
He stressed upon the participants to ensure utmost coordination with each other at camps so that better results could be yielded from the JUC programme. He asked them to make Whatsapp groups and update all activities of the camp.
The DDC appealed the general public to attend the JUCs in their respective panchayats and avail the opportunity of on spot registration under different centrally sponsored beneficiary oriented schemes which include Old Age pension, Golden Health Card, Minority Scholarship, Aadhaar seeding, KCC, Soil Health Cards, MUDRA Loan, PMSBY, PMJJBY, APY and other indicators under Aspirational District Programme.
Earlier, it was informed that the fourth phase of panchayat wise umbrella camps shall be held on July 16, 2022 in 65 panchayats of all 24 blocks which include Dardsun B, Guzriyal A/B, Baderhar, Bakihaker, Dudipora, Waterkhani, Turkipora, Wader Bala, Wader Payeen, Dahama A/B, Padergund, Bramri A/B, Arampora, Potushai A/B, Surigam, Gagal A/B, Kanthpora, Hangnikoot, Amargad, Hafrada, Chamkote A, Janbdi, Sudpora, Dard Harie, Dard Harie A, Lach, Maratgam, Shanoo, Panditpora, Rangpeth A/B, Dedikoot, Pazipora, Bohipora, Budnamal Bala, Chowkibal, Gund Zoonireshi, Tangcheck, Tekipora A/B/C, Walkula, Hanjipora, Hirri Payeen, Hirri A/B, Hundi, Madmadow, Lastiyal, Surkoli, Narikot, Dildar A/B, Khawarpora A, Batpora C/D, Kasba Hyhama and Trehgam D/E/F.
The meeting was attended by JD Planning, members of District, Block and Panchayat level Monitoring Committees of Health, ICDS, Agriculture, RDD, NRLM and banking sector, besides, District Officers.
