Jammu : Dr Rubinder Kaur, Chairperson, J&K Police Wives Welfare Association (J&K PWWA) has complimented the Medical Superintendent, Police Hospital Jammu, Dr Meenakshi Kotwal and her team for successfully conducting the caesarean operations in the Police Hospital after a long time.
Dr. Asha Manhas, Consultant Gynaecologist of Police Hospital Jammu has performed two Caesarean operations. She was assisted by Dr. Neeru Gupta (Anaesthetist), Dr. Bharat Bushan, (Paediatrician), Pharmacist Ravinder Raina, Sr. S/Nurse Shagufta Parveen, S/Nurse Asha Rani and theatre boy Rajesh Singh. These two surgeries have been performed in a single day. Both the babies and their mothers are healthy. The details of the delivery cases are as under:-
1. Isha Bali W/o SGCt. Sunny Kumar, PID No. EXJ-098737/CID gave birth to a female baby.
2. Girja Rani W/o SGCt. Kartar Singh, PID No. EXJ/985882/J gave birth to a male baby.
The Chairperson further expressed that with the addition of a fully functional Labour Room in the Hospital, expectant families of the Police personnel can avail these facilities round the clock and they do not need to go to anywhere for their pre-natal or post-natal care.
