Arrangements for I-Day celebtations: DC B’pora reviews preparations

B’pora : In connection with celebration of Independence Day-2022, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed on Thursday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the preparations for I-Day Celebrations-2022.
The meeting discussed various preprations for celebration of Independence Day-2022.
It was given out that the main function of Independence Day will be held at District Headquarter Bandipora while similar functions will be held at sub divisional level and block level as well.
Dr. Owais directed the concerned to keep ready all the necessary arrangements including seating arrangements, PA system, uninterrupted power supply, drinking water, Medicare facilities, cleanliness and sanitation and other required arrangements.
Sensitizing officers about their role and responsibilities, the DC instructed concerned to ensure that all arrangements are made in advance for celebrations of Independence Day.
The DC asked the R&B department to prepare the stage and make preparations for flag hoisting.
He stressed upon officers to put in place all necessary arrangements well in time for the smooth celebrations of Independence Day.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Waseem Raja, CO CRPF 3rd Battalion, ACR Bandipora and concerned officers from Police Army and civil administration.
