Kupwara : On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir, the ADDC Kupwara had a surprise inspection of various Health institutions in Medical block Trehgam and found 5 paramedical staff and 5 Mid Level Health Providers (MLHPs) absent from duty.
The Health institutions which were checked by ADDC include Health and Wellness Centre (H&WC) Hirri Bala, H&WC Lederwan, H&WC Mir Moqam, NTPHC Awoora, H&WC Batergam, H&WC Gulgam, H&WC Kunan and NTPHC Poshpora.
Meanwhile, on the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara explanation was called against the absentees and the CMO was directed to stop salaries of the absentees till they explain their position. The ADDC was accompanied by District Programme Coordinator NHM during the surprise inspection.
